Elective Exchange Programme

An exchange programme has been arranged for residents to spend up to six months at universities other than the University of Toronto. Satisfactory exchanges have been held between Edinburgh and Toronto and the Wellington School of Medicine, Wellington New Zealand. Other exchanges are being planned. An exchange can be arranged if a resident wishes to spend six months abroad and a resident at that University is willing to come to Toronto. This exchange programme is an option for those residents who wish to participate; it is not a mandatory part of training and it is not available to all residents.
